Greenery is a rare sight in urban areas due to lack of space. But that problem can now be solved thanks to the Vertical Garden Design by Michael Hellgren. This all-new phenomenon of vertical gardening involves growing plans on a vertical surface, which automatically solves the space problem.

Vertical Gardening lets you create a garden anywhere that you desire, it can be a public place, or indoors in your home or your office. All the gardens are created according to the specific needs of the location. A lot of factors are considered, like availability of light, space, local climate, and these factors determine the choice of the plants used. So the plants best suited for the location are selected, and this ensures that every garden is unique.

Installing and maintaining the vertical garden is not very hard and troublesome. Installation involves the setting up of a PVC board, but an adequate gap in maintained from the wall to prevent problems related to moisture. An attached absorbent felt surface provides the irrigation solution. If the garden is indoors then artificial light will be necessary. Artificial light will not only aid the proper growth of the plants but will also make the garden appear more beautiful with full exposure to all its colors, textures and variety.
