The latest designs which have caught the attention of the glitterati of Los Angeles are ‘The Lotus War’ by James Jean. It is a digital print art work consisting of intricate designs and motifs. These prints are quite vivid and colorful in display. There is unique interplay of colors which blend perfectly into describing the dramatic scene of an epic or story. James Jean is a Los Angeles based designer. After graduating from Art School in New York, he started his career as a cover illustrator for DC comics. His deep sense for graphic language complimented the comic art.
His latest collection The Lotus War, 2011 consists of buxom fairies mingled with elephants and psychotropic swirls. These designs are a big hit among people. Digital graphics was totally an unexplored arena. With James Jean designs finding a chord with people, many designers are now experimenting with the graphic and digital designs. This latest creation by the designer consists of several unique themes. James Jean has held several exhibitions all over America and Australia. He has won many awards including the prestigious Bronze Lion at the Cannes Lion Festival in 2008 at Cannes, France.
