The Qatar Motor Show will display the upgraded concept of VW L1 vehicle car by Volksvagen, which is ultra-green. It’s a tron-style light-weight beauty that has been housed in a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic shell. The L1 concept runs 100Km for every liter of gasoline, thus is capable of delivering 235 miles per gallon. Integrating two-cylinder diesel engine and an lithium-ion battery –powered electric motor, the green Volkswagen concept car can work in both eco and sport mode. In the sport mode, the car flies at about 160km/h. The L1 concept car will see the light of day in 2013 and is expected to cost $29,500.
